Frankfurt - A city of art and culture

Frankfurt is not only a city that embodies a world of finance, but also combines it with culture and beauty. Here are a few inspiring examples of where you can find art in Frankfurt:

Frankfurt Historical Museum - Frankfurt Fashion Office

The Frankfurt Fashion Office is located in the Frankfurt Historical Museum and has an impressive collection of over 16,000 fashion and textile objects. This collection covers a wide range of time periods, from bourgeois women's and men's clothing of the late 18th century to women's fashion from 1850 to the 1930s. Particularly noteworthy is the extensive selection of everyday and leisure clothing produced after 1945. A highlight of the collection is the nationwide unique collection of underwear, which includes around 1,000 items from 1860 to the present day. In addition, the collection includes a large selection of accessories such as hats, gloves, stockings, shoes, bags, sticks, umbrellas and fans. These are complemented by various handicraft and craft tools as well as home textiles such as table and bed linen, embroidered pictures and wall hangings. The collection is complemented by sample collections and pattern books from various manufacturers and dealers, including fabric and button patterns. Particularly noteworthy are fashion accessories and unusual items of clothing that document the activities of the Fashion Office between 1933 and 1945. The "Archive of the Frankfurt Fashion Office" in the Frankfurt Historical Museum also preserves numerous design drawings, photographs, archival documents and printed matter, thus offering valuable insights into fashion history.

Städel Museum

The Städel Museum in Frankfurt was founded in 1815 by the banker and art collector Johann Friedrich Städel and is one of the most important art museums in Germany. It contains an extensive collection of over 700 years of European art history, thus offering a comprehensive overview of the development of art from the Renaissance to the present day. The collection includes masterpieces by artists such as Botticelli, Monet, Picasso and Richter. The collection also includes sculptures, drawings and graphics. The museum is also known for its modern architecture, which harmoniously combines classical and contemporary elements. The Städel Museum offers a diverse program of exhibitions, events and educational opportunities. It supports research and education by making its library and archive available. It therefore makes a major contribution to the understanding of art.

Gallery AM PARK

The Gallery AM PARK, located in Frankfurt's Westend since 2000, specializes in modern and contemporary art by international artists. Five to six exhibitions are presented annually, and exhibitions are also held regularly in various private and municipal locations, including museums, banks and hotels. The gallery has a special focus on Mexican and Spanish art and presents well-known artists such as David Alfaro Siqueiros and Diego Rivera. Promoting young, experienced artists is also a major challenge for it. In addition to exhibitions, the gallery offers comprehensive art consulting, the furnishing of rooms and buildings, and the organization of art projects and exhibitions. These services are aimed at discerning art lovers, collectors and companies. The Galerie am Park is an inspiring place and therefore the perfect location for the shooting of our new capsule collection.
